English Translation:

Israel is a parliamentary republic in Western Asia, located on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. You can also find Lebanon to its North, Syria on its Northeast, Jordan and the West Bank in its East, and Egypt and the Gaza Strip to the Southwest. Israel also contains the geographically diverse features within a relatively small area.

The State of Israel is the only state in the whole world in which most of the people who live therein are Jewish. The State of Israel is also defined as a Jewish and democratic state in its Basic Laws.

There are many beautiful and popular landscape and places in Israel especially the places mentioned in the Bible.

The flag of Israel was adopted on October 28, 1948, five months after the country's establishment. It depicts a blue Star of David on a white background, between two horizontal blue stripes.

White - Symbol of light, honesty, innocence and peace.
Blue - Symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.

The Emblem of Israel (Hebrew: סמל מדינת ישראל) shows a menorah surrounded by an olive branch on each side, and the writing "ישראל" (Hebrew for Israel) below it. While the background of the emblem is always blue, the menorah and olive branches can be either white or golden.

The State of Israel adopted the emblem after a design competition held in 1948. The design is based on the winning entry submitted by Gabriel and Maxim Shamir's proposal, with elements taken from other submissions, such as Oteh Walisch and W. Struski's and Itamar David and Yerachmiel Schechter's entries.

The image used on the Coat of Arms is based on a depiction of the menorah on the Arch of Titus. The menorah was used in the ancient Temple in Jerusalem and has been a symbol of Judaism since ancient times. It symbolizes universal enlightenment. The olive branches symbolize peace.
